OpenOffice is a FREE alternative to the Microsoft products. You can create and edit your files in this tool suite and save them with extensions that open in various environments.
Ubuntu is another FREE alternative to Microsoft products. We currently use Ubuntu on one of our mobile laptop carts. Students can create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with the embedded office applications. |
